Why a short-term stay first
Most expats who move to Ecuador well end up somewhere different than they first expected. A 30–90 day landing pad lets you walk neighborhoods, try the commute, check which grocery stores you like, see how the altitude treats you, and then commit to a year-long lease.
Our short-term units are fully furnished, kitchenware, linens, fast internet, housekeeping. No utility hookups, no furniture hunts. Minimum stays are typically a week; monthly rates are substantially cheaper than nightly.
Dates in mind? Message us, we'll check availability and can often hold a unit for a few days while you lock in flights.
Tell us what you're looking for. We probably know it.
Roughly a third of what we place never hits the website. Send us a brief and a budget, we usually come back inside 48 hours, often with photos.
Send a brief- 01 We curate before listing. Most weeks the team reviews six new submissions; few make it on.
- 02 Prices on the door, no negotiation theater. The asking number is the asking number.
- 03 We tell you when a place is wrong for you. Often.
- 04 Stays are YapaTree-managed end-to-end, same point of contact from inquiry through check-out, no third-party handoffs.
