What to expect from long-term rentals in Ecuador
Long-term rentals in Ecuador are typically contracted for 12 months and billed monthly, in US dollars. Many landlords require a deposit (usually one month). Furnished, semi-furnished, and unfurnished options exist, expat-friendly landlords increasingly offer furnished units with everything you need to move in.
Each landlord handles utilities and alícuota (HOA) differently. Some bundle them, some bill separately. Our listings note which is which on each property.
